As seen by the recent cyber attack against Sony Entertainment's US-based Culver City corporate headquarters, American citizens are facing an immense risk to their privacy, liberty, and livelihoods from nation-state sponsored cyber criminals. I implore the Obama administration to not only denounce these heinous acts in the sternest language possible, but also to treat all such instances of these attacks as an act of terror under current United States policy. Although these acts take place in 'cyberspace', they have real, concrete, and long-lasting ramifications for the victims. Please use the full capability and power of the US Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice to bear against any cyber terror acts attributed to any nation.
