Like all human being is treated equally all the earnings should be treated the same way. We have different tax brackets (weather we agree with it or not), and they should be applied equally to all the earnings of each tax payer. However, different earnings are being treated differently. Interests, dividends, gains, stock payouts get a special treatment. Which is not fair if the law says everyone should be and must be treated equally.
