Too many guns deaths that are occurring are labeled 'accidental' or 'in-the-line-of-duty.' The families of the killed deserve justice from a court of law - the same court of law for homicides and murders. Anyone who shoots and kills another person should go to jail and trial - even if it was an 'accident' or 'in-the-line-of-duty.' Let our judicial process determine innocence and guilt not 'internal investigations' that are not transparent. ALL police should wear body cameras -for their protection and the protection of the citizenry. ALL gun owners should be held responsible for their weapon and punished for 'accidents.' We need transparency, accountability and equality under the law. It is time to treat all gun deaths equally.
