Treat Congress and the members of the Senate as other American workers.

We the people of the United States of America, of all backgrounds and political party affiliation, hereby request that members of the US Congress and US Senate have their taxpayer healthcare benefits discontinued. Since taxpayer funded healthcare is not in the best interest of the American people, it is not in the best interest of those serving in Congress and the Senate either. They should be forced to find a health plan that suits their needs on the "fair" open market. This of course will still be tax payer funded since they receive their money from the US taxpayers, so I am also proposing a 23% pay cut for these same members due to negative performance reviews. They will only be allowed 10 vacation days per year and will have to accrue sick time at the rate of 8 hours per month.
