Our entire government needs to be overhauled, and these need to be adressed from the President all the way down.
There should be NO voted in raises (they are not their own boss, they work for us. I can't vote in my own raise and a COLA is almost unheard of now). They shouldn't be paid $150k+ a year for 160 (averaged) days a year. There should be NO "opting out" of Obamacare, if it is good enough for us, it is good enough for them. Lifetime pension needs to go, again, they are no better than we are, we have to plan on retirement (401k) so can they. It is a job, not a lifetime income from 4 years, Presidential or otherwise. This all needs to be reworked, because it doesn't work. If they don't like it, replace them with actual working people, who all of this stuff actually affects!
