The recent closing of ITT Tech has left thousands of veterans without their education or a means to get it due to the use of their benefits.
There is currently no safeguard in place to protect the veteren benefit money invested in education. If a school closes, they do not have a unlimited amount of benefits to start over. Which is the case for many veterans displaced by ITT Techs being closed down. Their benefits are used and they now have nothing to show for it.
Please enact a safeguard to prevent veterans from having to face such a difficult position in the future.
Please help those veterans that have lost the time, hours, benefits, and college credits to regain them and continue their formal education with the benefits that they were awarded for their service.
