My petition is important because the workers on the Cruise Line Ships are actually treated as slaves and could be fired without any reasonable reason. I worked as Refrigeration Fitter on "Voyager" of the Regent 7 Seas Cruise Line and I couldn't defend myself due to the facts that: the AC Engineer was very against me from the beginning and totally inflexible, the Staff Engineer didn't follow at all what he stated in a meeting, the Chief Engineer didn't react and didn't want to take in consideration none of my words, the HR Manager was as absent from that ship (when I talked with him, he even closed his eyes, his ears and his mind, and replied to me as a robot, didn't took in consideration what I told to him!). I refuse to accept that this is an American Company! These need to be changed.
