We humbly request that the President allow an election in each state, the choice of remaining a part of the United States of America, or to secede from the United States of America and form their own government. Each state shall vote to remain part of the United States, or secede to form their own nation. The choice shall be made by the popular vote in each state, NOT BY ELECTORAL COLLEGE! If they choose to secede, they should be allowed to do so peacefully, and be responsible for their own well being. If every state in the union votes to secede, then the white house, the entire congress, and the supreme court should immediately resign, and new members shall be elected by the majority, and not by electoral college. This shall be called the Tree of Liberty Act.
