The Troy School District must upgrade its technology

Currently, Troy Athens High School, along with the rest of the district, is full of outdated equipment. The equipment such as the computers, routers televisions, laptops, etc. operate on old hardware and software which frequently interferes in our students’ work. The equipment is frequently faulty and unreliable, which causes students to face difficulty when doing work. The district is also quiet on replacing old equipment, such as the aging smart boards, so the future of the school’s technology is up in the air. This is outrageous because our school is a place for learning, and when our technology is faulty, we face an obstacle when trying to learn.
