truly make Veterans Day for veterans. Does it make sense to see postal workers, teachers and bankers have this day off?

Created by J.H. on December 02, 2011

On November 11th of each year Veterans who have served this country with honor would get this day off from their employer with full pay. If November 11th falls on a weekend. Then the Veteran would get that following Monday as a paid holiday.
Employers would keep on file the employees DD213 discharge form or his Honorable Discharge certificate. This will provide proof to the employer of his service in the United States military.
Federal and private employees who currently do not work on this holiday. Would instead receive another day off during the calendar year.
This new federal law would finally correct a mistake that has been going on far too long.
