We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Trump's security briefings must be withheld until it can be clearly determined he is not a national security risk.

Created by M.S. on July 26, 2016

In a presidential election year, the candidates from both major parties traditionally receive classified intelligence briefings prior to being elected. This tradition was instituted by President Truman in 1952 to ensure that no future president would enter office unprepared. Recently it has come to the public's attention that Republican nominee Donald Trump may have ties to the Russian government. I am concerned that releasing classified information to him could be a threat to the security of our nation should these allegations prove to be true. I propose withholding these security briefings until a thorough investigation can be done that can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it is not a security risk to provide him with this information.
