The truth behind who abolished slavery in the United States of America.

This petition impacts ALL Americans. The racial divide is at an all time high since the last 20 years. We ask the Federal Government to issues a factual statement that talks about Abraham Lincoln, the Republican Party, and how many people both white and black died to free slaves in America. We want the Federal Government to acknowledge OUR history. The history of slavery, Abraham Lincoln, and the republican party. We want the truth to be told and announced by the White House and the President of the United States. There needs to be a statement issuing that it was not liberals, Democrats or blacks alone that abolished slavery. It was signed by Abraham Lincoln and the word Slave comes from SLAV - Slavic WHITE people who were slaves in the Middle Ages. 1.4% of Americans owned slaves.
