We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Truth in news media outlets

Created by M.S. on November 09, 2016

We need to modify the first amendment rights of news outlets in order to ensure the public is informed adequately. If a story a news media desires to print, cannot be proven factually, it cannot print that story. Everything the news runs should have to be factually verifiable. Editing out portions of videos to skew evidence to fit the agenda, editing transcripts to fit the agenda, and any edit made to any news source to intentionally change or alter the meaning or intent of the source material, should be made illegal.
