Israel is committing war crimes, but the White House doesn't want to admit it. Its dismissive language reveals as much in the July 28th, 2015 response to a similar petition:
"...Palestinians deserve an end to the occupation and daily indignities that come with it."
"Indignities" - almost as bad as that time they messed up my haircut and I was embarrassed for a week.
In 2014, Israel conducted a brazen retaliatory bombardment operation against Palestinian civilians in Rafah. Officially intended to recover a captured Israeli officer, it continued on for three days after the officer was confirmed dead. According to outside observers, 135-200+ civilians were killed.
What does the White House think about the bombardment of Rafah? Does this qualify as more than an "indignity?"
