Private Danny Chen was a 19-year-old soldier who committed suicide because he was bullied by his fellow soldiers and his commanding officer. The perpetrators found guilty so far have been granted light sentences. Military hazing has always been a problem and it needs to end now. Citizens do not pay taxes and support their children's decision to enlist so they can be by their fellow soldiers, nor commanding officers who are supposed to set an example of honor and discipline. Thus we the people respectfully request that Chen's abusers be retried for treason, as should any soldier who so callously disgraces the US military in this manner.
