Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform had many GOP members sign pledges years and years ago to not ever propose or vote to raise taxes. It is now necessary for the country to raise tax revenue in either increased GDP or increased marginal tax rates. Despite not holding public office of any sort, Grover Norquist threatens any GOP members considering breaking the tax pledge of troubles for their next election of an unspecified nature. Grover Norquist is holding our country hostage for personal gain.
