Throughout history too many law enforcement officers have gotten away with criminal behavior. They are just put on leave or suspended after they shoot someone's dog, or they shoot an unarmed citizen, but if a regular citizen shot someone's dog or someone else for the same reason as the law enforcement officer does that citizen will be charged and most likely face jail time. Law inforcement officers are people too, they choose to make the decisions they make and they should be punished the same as a regular citizen of the United Stats would be.
