Try the prisoners held in US detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Created by C.N. on April 25, 2013

It's time to put an end to illegal detentions at Guantanamo Bay. Close Guantanamo: release detainees held without charge, and try detainees with charges against them in US federal courts.

Many prisoners held without charge are facing a decade of their lives lost to incarceration and interrogation in explicit violation of their human rights. Irreparable damage has been done--both to these prisoners' lives and to the US' credibility as a nation that advocates human rights.

We can't erase or make adequate reparations for the last decade, but let's take the steps necessary now to make sure that these prisoners get access to the human rights they're entitled to--including the right to a fair trial and the right to freedom from torture.
