Try Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for Treason.

Created by K.R. on April 02, 2015

Shortly after President Obama's announcement of an official U.S. plan to reduce carbon emissions, McConnell warned other countries to “proceed with caution” before pledging carbon emissions reductions to the United Nations, saying the U.S. would not be able to meet its own climate goals. “Even if the job-killing and likely illegal Clean Power Plan were fully implemented, the United States could not meet the targets laid out in this proposed new plan... [O]ur international partners should proceed with caution before entering into a binding, unattainable deal.” McConnell said.

These unabashed attempts to undermine the President, U.S. foreign policy, and international relations should be considered treason. As Senate Majority Leader, McConnell should be held responsible for these actions.
