To arrest and Try Senator Ted Cruz of Texas for Government Extortion and Seditious Conspiracy under the law. Being the chief architect and leader of the government shutdown and potential risk of our country defaulting, he should be held fully responsible. Just because he is a Senator doesn't grant him any special immunity to this law or any other laws of the nation. It's not about his views or any other views of his supporters but about his attempt to destroy our democracy and economy.
Any regular American would be tried for these crimes and sentenced to prison. His actions have proven to be dangerous to our nation and his acts irresponsible to the American people. To ask for all GOP leaders to be tried would be unrealistic but it is not unrealistic to make an example of Ted Cruz.
