Try to stop SOPA and PIPA from restricting freedom and free speech on the internet.

Created by M.G. on December 06, 2011

We believe that the ability to speak and communicate freely on the internet has now become a key aspect of freedom in America. The right to access a free, uncensored internet may not be inalienable, but we believe that it should be protected and moderated with great caution.

Intellectual property, under our current laws, should be protected, but not with the extreme and excessive powers granted in SOPA and PIPA. We fear that excessive regulation could destroy the intellectual web of communication for the distribution of ideas that the internet has grown into since its nascent state in the 1990's.

Freedom of speech is valued paramount in the United States, and we do not think that the voice of 307 million people should be so rashly and harshly censored by lobbyists and companies.
