The debt ceiling is not something that should be used as part of any negotiations regarding the federal budget deficits or federal debt. These are bills that the federal government MUST pay. Raising the debt ceiling does NOT increase spending but simply pays for the bills that Congress already authorized the President to pay. If the Tea Party members do not vote to raise the debt ceiling immediately they will cause extreme hard to this country and all citizens. They are committing treason.
