Turkish Health Ministry issued a threat to take medical licenses away from doctors who provide treatment to protesters.

Created by R.A. on June 17, 2013

In the midst of a national uprising against authoritarian rule, the Turkish Health Ministry issued a threat to take medical licenses away from doctors who provide treatment to protesters. This ordinance violates internationally recognized principles of medical neutrality and forces doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to make an impossible choice: lose their right to practice or honor their oath to treat all who are in need.
Add your voice to the call for the Turkish Government to remove its threat to health professionals and stop interfering in the care of wounded protesters!
