Ken Salazar does not have the interest of the American Mustangs and Burros at heart and many are secretly being taken to Mexico for slaughter under his watch. They are currently herded by helicopter, many knocked down by sadistic pilots when they cannot run any further.
Madeleine Pickens and other rescue organizations are in negotiations to buy one million acres to house these treasured animals and let them run free as they are meant to. Turn the care and control of these beautiful animals over to her and the rescue organizations that really do have their best interest at heart.
Additionally, do not sign any new legislation that would allow horse/burro slaughter houses to again open in the United States.
