Turn the "Toledo Strip" into a District

Created by R.H. on August 15, 2014

Throughout history, Michigan and Ohio laid claims over what is known as the "Toledo Strip". Since its creation, Michigan kept the Toledo Strip and in 1835, it has been transferred to Ohio. The Toledo Strip has been disputed ever since, like its east coast counterpart, the District of Columbia between Virginia and Maryland. Now is the time to show the legislatures of Michigan and Ohio what the people of Toledo are made of! Time to teach them a lesson they'll never forget, and the lesson is "DMWT!", short for Don't Mess With Toledo!
