We, the people, believe that Hostess should be helped in these dire times. A strike, a civil right, has crippled this company into closing its doors. Something that all Americans enjoy, yet fear of losing their jobs. Thousands of Americans will have no job.
What are the consequences?
State fairs will not be making fried Twinkies, povertous families will be left with only store-brand or Little Debbies to choose from, no more long nights of sitting in front of a computer screen eating late night snacks, and the list will go on. It's an American crisis.
What are we doing to help?
Nothing.
What can the government do?
One word. Bailout, as the government has done multiple times with the auto, banks, home, and other industries.
We, the People, will see you on the other side.
