THE TWO-WEEKS NOTICE OR TWO-WEEKS PAY ACT TO PROTECT EMPLOYEES FROM THE DAMAGES OF “AT WILL” TERMINATION AND REVISE THE EMPLOYER BIASED “AT WILL” EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT created in response to the unethical actions of the Law Offices of Daniel C. Consuegra
This act will make it illegal for a company to fire an employee “effective immediately” without offering the employee the financial equivalent of two weeks pay or the amount of money they would have made had they not been terminated abruptly, whichever is greater.
OR
This act will make it illegal for a company to deny an employee two weeks notice of their effective termination date. If an employee is given ample notice that they are no longer going to be with the company the company will not need to provide two weeks pay.
