UK Poll on the Boss at Work

Created by A.Z. on June 15, 2016

An office rental company in the UK www.freeofficefinder.com has conducted a poll to work out what employees really think of their bosses. See the full results survey results here http://goo.gl/uT6sVi where we look at an overview of a topic of interest to all employers.

The study

We all know that the boss isn’t there for a popularity contest but we do work with them on a near-daily basis and they have a massive impact in our lives.

The survey spoke to 1052 people of which 612 were male and 440 were female.
In terms of age groups:

• 18-25 - 35%
• 26-30 - 35%
• 31-35 – 29%
• 35+ - 6%

Gender issues

A further breakdown of the gender of the person and their boss when asked if they liked their boss showed that nearly 50% liked their female boss but only 39% liked their male boss.
