Mr. President: Encouraged by the US, Ukraine reluctantly gave up its nuclear arsenal in 1994 in return for guarantees of its territorial integrity and sovereignty. Russia is breaching these guarantees in the most flagrant way. The West’s reaction is tepid at best: sanctions are not stopping the blatant aggression!
