The new pope & the son of Italian immigrants, broke historic ground by choosing the name Francis, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, to represent his dedication to the poor & the marginalized.
The governor’s record against poor & Immigrant families in New Mexico go against those teachings.
The President should not reward this anti-immigrant governor. The delegate to represent our people should be a person who represents the values of love & dedication to the poor & marginalized--that person is NOT Gov. Martinez.
