Unban assault weapons in the United States and prevent other weapons from being banned

I believe assault weapons should be unbanned. The second amendment clearly states that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Assault weapons can protect people and property with ease. Criminals can gain any weapon, regardless if it is illegal to do so. People still use drugs even though they are illegal. Disarming innocent, law-abiding citizens is not the best option. Mass shootings are caused by mentally ill people, criminals, and terrorists. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Hitler approved gun control. Several million people died and World War II started. Hillary Clinton and President Obama Are advocates for gun control, but have multiple secret service agents with guns to protect them.
