The Unconditional Removal of All Confederate Memorials and Honors from Federal and other Taxpayer Funded Properties.

Created by M.C. on April 21, 2016

Throughout history, some shameful members of the human citizenry seek to commit vile acts. Genocide, religious imposition, and rewriting the past are prime examples of such evil acts. Yet another example is honoring a vile group of people who not only sought to keep human slaves, but also to divide and destroy the United States. I'm organizing a petition to demand the final and unconditional removal of all monuments, memorials, and other symbols honoring the unrecognized Confederate States of America and its soldiers and politicians from Federal and other taxpayer-funded properties. To honor these traitors is akin to honoring Benedict Arnold at West Point. Should some items continue to be displayed, they need to be declared artifacts of historical value for educational purposes in museums.
