The founding constitution, while an important and powerful document, was created over 200 years ago. It is out dated, the liberty it was built on has been undermined by security and secrecy.
It is quite clear that the current government's obsession with national security is an attack on the people on a scale that would shock our founding fathers into another revolution. To prevent unnecessary death and war inevitable with nations that take security over liberty. We the people of the US will not be ruled by our government, our government will serve us.
This is a call to draft a new constitution updated to modern understanding and technologies to carry us into the next two centuries. We are people of liberty and freedom, not national security and targeted killings.
