Under the ACA waive the 30 hour FT employee requirement for those who already have insurance through their spouses.

Created by M.H. on June 17, 2014

Nurses are the backbone behind healthcare. Most nurses choose to work per diem and receive a higher hourly salary in lue of benefits. Most nurses choose to do this because their spouses have insurance that they are covered under. Now, their hourly rate is being reduced and unfairly being forced to cut their hours while still being in compliant with the ACA. It is wrong to force these hard working nurses to not only loose hours but also loose money per hour. We petition the Obama Administration to create a waiver that allows for these nurses to remain at the level of per diem they currently are while continuing to work more than 30 hours as long as they can provide proof of existing insurance. If no waiver is granted I guarantee that healthcare will suffer.
