My petition puts forward the idea that under the proposed Gun Control Bill, current military and prior service military released with an honorable discharge be allowed to own assault rifles. These men and women have already cleared a background check, have been trained on how to use assault rifles, and have been trusted by the people of the United States to defend our lives using these weapons.
