150 years after the end of the American Civil War a considerable number of Southerners in the former Confederate States of America still desire secession from the Union for good reasons. Unlike the British Empire before us, our dominant position in the world is mainly through the use of soft power, which can be economic or cultural. The people in the former Confederacy need to voice their opinions on the issue of Southern Indpendence. We need to break down the American empire, prevent any nuclear attacks on North America by North Korea or Iran, easily pay off our national debt, mend diplomatic relations with the rest of the world, and preserve the unique culture of the South, all of which can be accomplished through Southern Independence. That's why a poll is inevitable.
