If the United States decided to legalize cannabis in the United States of America, crime rates would decline from in the past, the percentage of citizens with cancer would decrease, and our economy would have a steep incline. Since cannabis has been legalized in Colorado and Washington, it has become the number 1 cash crop in both of those states. If the entire country would become legalized, we would help decrease our debt of 13 trillion dollars. Also, research labs around the country have studied that the medical effects of cannabis can cure certain forms of cancer. Also, you would help get people off of the streets from becoming murdered. It would help save our natural environment by eliminating illegal weed fields which wastes our natural resources. Overall, cannabis should be legal.
