Understand the United States is not a war zone but will become one. The NDAA shreds the constitution. Repeal this!

Created by C.C. on November 16, 2012

The national defense authorization act (NDAA) declares anyone the government considers to be an enemy of the state, or in any way associated with terrorism, can be held indefinitely without trial, without ever being charged of a crime, tortured, and even assassinated right here on US soil. An enemy of the state is, of course, a matter of opinion and there are no clear boundaries to this law. Obama promised to veto this law if congress allowed it to pass. Upon voting the bill did in fact pass in a 93-7 vote. Obama's response was that he would allow the passage of the bill if, and only if, Americans were included in the detention section of this bill. The senate agreed and the bill was passed into law. A law based on the opinion of the government is unconstitutional and should be repealed!
