Understand what the 2nd ammendment means before proposing legislation that infringes upon our right to bear arms.

Created by C.H. on December 19, 2012

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Regulating what weapons can be sold/bought by a law-abiding, mentally stable Citizen of the United States is undoubtedly wrong. That would be infringing on our right to keep and bear arms.

However, requiring background checks before sales, safety courses before carrying, and things similar in nature, is completely in accordance with the amendment.

We believe that the way to move forward is through removing loopholes in purchasing weapons, not banning "assault" firearms and high capacity magazines

We demand that you propose legislation removing loopholes in firearm purchasing, NOT removing firearms from store shelves and our hands.
