This is a petition asking President Obama to seriously engage with Congress is enacting spending cuts and entitlement reform. In the current "fiscal cliff" negotiations, President Obama has seemed to focus entirely on tax increases on the wealthy. While one may agree that such increases are reasonable and fair, they will do extremely little to balance the national budget and address our nation's longterm fiscal health. The biggest threat to our nation's fiscal health is ballooning entitlement expenditures.
