The rescheduling of Hydrocodone is causing undue problems for many people suffering chronic pain.
1.Patients now have to see their doctors monthly to get
their prescriptions. This costs more in office visits and
gasoline. It is also an added hardship for those of us
who are disabled.
2.Drug testing in the doctors office treats us as criminals.
It is humiliating, uncalled for, and an extra expense for
those of us living on disability.
3.These extra visits and drug tests take up time that
doctors could spend with patients.
For these reasons hydrocodone should be not be classified as a schedule 2 controlled substance.
