On March 22, 2013, NASA stated that $1.2 trillion will be cut from some of its essential programs, such as public outreach and STEM programs.
These cuts will undoubtedly have ripple effects throughout our economy. NASA spurs innovation and inspires future generations. It has benefited the United States and humanity as a whole more than people realize.
