unfreeze the pay rate for personal home health aides, and to raise the rate of pay

Created by J.N. on January 28, 2013

unfreeze wages for personal home health aides, and raise the rate of pay.

home health aides have had their rate of pay frozen for the last 2 years and benefits have been decreased to pretty much nothing. they get paid bi-weekly and barely make it through to the next week. some have had to take on other jobs and lose quality family time just to make ends meet. the most they make is about $ 9.50/hr . personal home health aides do more than tend to the consumer, they also tend to house work that the consumer is unable to do on their own.
