As the sole owner of ungoogle.org , I get email after email asking for help to remove unwanted data from the web pertaining to individuals and companies that have been hurt by the major search engines unregulated and unchecked broadcasting of their private information through indexes. To be honest it is really hard to be effective in any type of removal of information once it's out there. Google owns the most data and should be held responsible for having to remove anything seen by someone to be hurtful to their reputation or a violation of their right to privacy right along with all other search result providers.
