Peace in the Korean peninsula is impossible without peace in Asia, and peace in Asia will become the pathway to world peace. The Six Party Talks aim to find a peaceful resolution to the security concerns as a result of the North Korean nuclear weapons program. These talks were a result of North Korea withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in 2003. Apparent gains following the fourth and fifth rounds were reversed by outside events. The Six Party Talks must be reformed; the nations involved must assemble to unite Korea, and recognize that none of the parties have objections to this proposal. As a product of this coalition, the conflicts produced by the North Korean nuclear weapons program will inevitably be resolved.
