Unify the separation of Church and State by eliminating what is known as a Marriage License.

Please eliminate what is known as a Marriage license. This request falls under the separation of Church and State. Marriage defined by the Church is the Union of a man and woman; This does not mean however, couples should be denied rights. Civil unions are in place to provide spouses rights: Equal for all. If a religious couple so wished they would be able to obtain a marriage Blessing from a Relgious institution. Generally this would be harder to obtain than a licensed Civil Union. To surmise, a Marriage Blessing would come from a Relgious Institution saying god has blessed the Union of a man and woman; A Civil Union would provide rights for Spouses (I.E.Tax related/Health related). Finally CHURCH and STATE need to be SEPERATE!
