I petition that Fire, Police, and EMS become a federal government entity. Reason for this petition is as follows:
1. Job Creation: Allows those certified to be employed by the federal government. Filling in position in locations hurting for Police, Fire, and EMS.
2. Equal Pay for Jobs with incentive for longevity (past, present, and future.
3. Increased funding for departments that are lacking revenue to purchase apparatus, equipment, training, research, etc.
4. Makes the need for Mutual Aid Agreements Obsolete without disturbing the national incident management infrastructure, But allowing resources to be readily available at a moments notice.
5. Allows for national certification for EMS, Fire and Police.
