Whereas, the existence of chemical and biological weapons/warheads is widely regarded as a threat to humanity and a potential threat to our nation's security, and,
Whereas, the production, development, stockpiling and use of chemical or biological weapons in combat, or otherwise, is illegal under the Biological Weapons Convention ratified in 1975 and the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993, and,
Whereas, the United States of America regularly pursues violators of the Biological Weapons and Chemical Weapons Conventions, (recently, the nations of Iraq, Syria, Libya, to name a few), therefore,
We the People, Ask the Obama Administration to unilaterally and unconditionally create a comprehensive program for dismantling and destroying the US stockpile of chemical and biological weapons.
