uninvite Rev Al Sharpton from the White House meeting to discuss civil rights and the Ferguson tragedy.

Created by H.S. on December 01, 2014

As reported by the Associated Press, President Obama's meeting will focus on "mistrust between law enforcement and communities of color". Few people have done as much to foster and profit from this mistrust as Rev Sharpton, who to this day remains unrepentant for his actions in Wappinger's Falls, NY.

If the President is serious in addressing this matter, and we believe he is, he should show it and should not promote such bad behavior as Rev Sharpton's by granting him the credibility of the White House. This would be no different than inviting a convicted and unrepentant police officer to the discussion. If the President insists on honoring the invitation, he cannot possibly be serious about building trust.

Rev Sharpton does not deserve to be part of such an important discussion.
