The Pledge of Allegiance clearly indicating that the United States is "indivisible," and the U.S. Constitution requiring two independent acts before an individdual can be charged with treason, any individual who signs a petition which purports to have any portion of this nation "secede" from the United States of American shall, as a matter of law, have committed one of the two independent acts required to be convicted of treason.
